* PHYSICAL CHANGES
--> Asynchronous
--> There's almost 2-year difference between the maximum physical growth rates for boys and girls.
--> It is difficult to determine the onset of puberty of the boys.
♣ GIRLS
◘ menstruation
◘ enlargement of the breast
◘ widening of pelvis gradual deposit of fat on the hips
◘ appearance of pubic hair
♣ BOYS
◘ appearance of pubic hair
◘ increased growth of hair in the body
◘ occurrence of nocturnal emission
◘broadening of shoulders
♠○♠ Among all the changes that happen to us during our adolescence period, the physical changes of our body is the most noticeable. Girls and boys definitely have different changes that occur in their bodies, although sometimes there are similarities like the increasing measure of our height, changes in our voices and etc. Based from what I've learned, changes may start early at the age of 8 and at the age of sixteen as the latest. Have you ever wondered why does your seatmate started to experience changes in his/her body but your body has not started to change yet? When that situation happens, you should not think that your abnormal or whatsoever because like what our T.L.E. teacher said, our body has its own biological clock which commands our body to change when it's already the time for your body to change. The third definition about the physical changes I've stated above is true. It is really hard to determine if a boy already starts developing physically because unlike the girls their physical changes are very obvious. I realized that I'm very lucky that this topic is discussed here in our school so that I'll have the prior knowledge of what changes that will happen to me in this stage of my life and it clears all the questions that are inside my mind about this.
