My TLE reflection about adolescence(part 4)

There are three developmental stages of Adolescence. The first stage is early adolescence, middle adolescence and late adolescence.

*EARLY ADOLESCENCE(12-14 yrs. old)
--> sense of identity
--> moodiness
--> close friends gain importance
--> less affection shown to parents
--> shyness and blushing
--> show-off qualities
--> experimentation with the body

# In this developmental stage of life we are trying to find our own identity. We should not copy our friends' identity because we have our own.

# We also encounter the fast turning of our moods. An example is, we are sad in the morning but when we see our crushes our moods changed as fast as a wink of an eye.

# We find comfort telling secrets to our friends than to our parents. There are also times that we are shy kissing our parents in public which should not be.

# When we are young, we just laugh after slipping but now when we slipped we became shy(especially when it happened in front of your crush). We often blush upon seeing our crushes.

# If we have talents we want to show it off.

# Out of curiosity some teenagers experiment with their body. A best example is piercing in different parts of your body(tongue, belly buttons eyebrows and etc.).

We must know how to handle the situation and the problems we encounter in this stage. We must not be mislead by the temptations that surround us.

(the other two developmental stages of adolescence will be discussed in my next reflection)
